Imago is the Latin word for “ image “. Deep down each of us carries a picture of what we think love is supposed to look ,sound and feel like. We bring those visions and expectations with us into our committed relationships, but they don’t always serve us well.

Imago Therapy helps make what’s unconscious > conscious . Thereby transforming conflict into connection and reinvigorating and deepening your relationship.
Imago takes a relational vs an individual problem solving approach. For couples, it guides them in understanding how each of them came to the relationship with issues and how to heal together as a team.
Imago Relationship therapy looks at uncovering unhealthy patterns and old wounds to increase connection through safety and the Imago Dialogue. Through safety and curiosity we become our partners healer.
Imago teaches specific skills ( Imago Dialogue ) to resolve conflict in a healthy and loving way.

New Parenting Class Forming

New to our services line up is a S.T.E.P. parenting class held on saturdays. S.T.E.P. (Systematic Training for Effective Parenting) is a multicomponent parenting education curriculum and help parents learn effective ways to relate to their children by using parent education study groups. S.T.E.P. helps parents learn how to encourage cooperative behavior in their children while not reinforcing unacceptable behaviors.
