South Florida Psychologist - S. Elizabeth Kortlander, Ph.D.

Elizabeth Kortlander is a licensed psychologist in the South Florida area. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Temple University and completed her Residency at Children's Psychiatric Center, where she saw children with a variety of problems.

She has worked with a diverse range of age groups and varying ethnic and racial groups.

Dr. Kortlander has a strong background in cognitive-behavioral therapy to treat a range of childhood, adolescent, and adult problems. She has special expertise in treating childhood anxiety disorders.

Dr. Kortlander has published and given professional presentations on treating anxiety disorders in children, as well as treating other childhood and adolescent disorders. She has also been involved in several federally funded research projects investigating the treatment of childhood anxiety disorders and adolescent substance abuse.
