South Florida Social Worker - Joann Gorn, L.C.S.W.

South Florida social worker, Joann Gorn, L.C.S.W. is a licensed clinical social worker and a Certified Addictions Professional (CAP). She received her Master's degree in Social Work from Barry University and attended Nova Southeastern University's Substance Abuse Studies Program. She practiced counseling in both inpatient and outpatient settings, specializing in the field of eating disorders, substance abuse and trauma-related issues.
 
Mrs. Gorn is a former therapist of The Renfrew Center of South Florida, a women's mental health treatment center. She provided individual, family, marital and group therapy.  She developed a chemical dependency program for women struggling with both substance abuse and eating disorder issues.
 
In addition to specializing in eating disorders and substance abuse, she possesses expertise in a wide range of associated problems including depression and anxiety.
 
For over 15 years she has provided psychotherapy to countless individuals in an atmosphere that is safe to begin the process of personal growth and healing.
